About EV Safety Hub

EV Safety Hub is an independent reference that tracks open safety recalls for electric vehicles sold in the United States. Every recall shown here comes directly from the public API of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at api.nhtsa.gov, and the pages refresh automatically so they stay current.

For each model-year we summarize every open recall in plain English — the defect, why it matters, and the free remedy — and compute a Safety Signal grade from the number, severity and recency of recalls. The grade is our own summary metric, not an official NHTSA rating.

EV Safety Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any automaker or by NHTSA. Recall eligibility depends on your exact vehicle, so always confirm by entering your 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Recall repairs are performed free of charge at franchised dealers.
